Josh Burns has a new opponent for his BYB debut this Saturday.
Burns now faces fellow heavyweight veteran Tony Lopez at BYB 9 in Tampa, Florida.
Burns was scheduled to face 100-fight MMA veteran Travis Wiuff, who was making his bare knuckle debut. Wiuff has pulled out “due to a personal issue”, BYB announced.

Lopez figures to be a tougher test than Burns. The former KOTC MMA champion has shown himself tough and durable, going the distance with former BKFC champion Joey Beltran and Alan Belcher. Lopez is known to frustrate opponents. If Burns chases a KO and gasses himself out, things could get interesting.
Ten bouts in all are scheduled for BYB 9. The event streams free on the promotion’s YouTube channel.
Female MMA pioneer Erin Toughill returns to the Mighty Trigon for her second bare knuckle bout at BYB 9. The main event is a title bout between unbeaten JD “The Berzerker” Burns and Jose “Goat” Fernandez.
