Hunt vs Richman to Headline Knuckle Mania 3
Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship announced Lorenzo Hunt will face Mike Richman at Knuckle Mania 3 in February.
Knuckle Mania 3 takes place on 17 February in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. It’s the first Knuckle Mania to be held outside Florida.
Hunt (8-1) is currently the promotion’s light heavyweight and cruiserweight champion. He’s won 7 straight bouts since a KO loss to heavyweight Gustavo Trujillo in 2020.
Hunt is the BKFC Fighter of the Year for 2022. Last year, he successfully defended his titles twice, stopping Joe Riggs and Quentin Henry.
Richman comes off his most impressive win. “The Marine” showed a champion’s heart in surviving Isaac Doolittle’s onslaught, battling back to stop “The Honey Badger” in three rounds.
“The Marine” has also stopped Dakota Cochrane, Dave Rickels, and former title challenger Marcel Stamps. Nobody’s been able to last the distance with him yet.
Hunt though is by far Richman’s toughest opponent. He enters the ring with height and reach advantages and more experience.
It will be an interesting battle between two of the sport’s best fighters. Richman’s punching power gives him a chance against anyone, including Hunt.
