BYB Extreme returned to Florida for its latest event.

BYB 13: Tampa Brawl featured 9 hard-hitting bare knuckle bouts.

Hatch Improves to 2-0

In the opener, hard-hitting Jarrome Hatch improved to 2-0. Hatch knocked down Scott O’Shaughnessy twice before the cruiserweight bout was stopped in round one.

Art Parker Wins Debut

Art “Dead Man” Parker stopped Matthew Strickland in the night’s first heavyweight bout.

Parker trapped Strickland in a corner early, dropping him with a big right uppercut. Parker knocked him down two more times-the referee waved off the action in round one.

Cub Hawkins Defeats Garrett Call

MMA veteran Cub Hawkins showed impressive skills. Hawkins dropped Garrett Call with a jab seconds into their light heavyweight bout.

Call bravely battled but was dropped twice more, giving Hawkins his 2nd win against no defeats. First round stoppage.

Tanori SHOCKS Toby Misech

Julio Tanori made an impressive BYB debut.

The 20-year-old upset the well-regarded Toby Misech, winning by second round knockout in a welterweight contest.

Misech is quicker and had the edge early. Tanori wobbled Misech late in round one.

In the second, Tanori dropped Misech early. Misech got up and there was some good back and forth action, before Tanori dropped him for the count.

Christopher Gonzalez Gets First Win

Someone’s “0” had to go.

Both Christopher Gonzalez and John Birdsong were winless heading into their super welterweight showdown.

It was an untidy fight. Gonzalez got the win by first-round knockout.

Ukraine’s Khanakov Victorious

Ukraine’s Bovar Khanakov won his U.S. debut.

Khanakov earned a unanimous decision over Isaac Freeman in a middleweight bout.

Both fighters showed good skills. The Ukrainian was the aggressor and scored more points.

Medina Wins Bloody Battle With Link

Former title challenger Monica Medina defeated Jessica Link in a bloody battle. Medina won by unanimous decision-all judges scored the fight 50-44.

It was a tough fight. Medina was the aggressor, knocking down Link in round one. Link is tough and landed some good lefts but Medina landed the better punches.

New BYB Heavyweight King Crowned

DJ “Da Protege” Linderman dethroned Tony “Kryptonite” Lopez, winning the BYB Heavyweight Title.

It was bloody and brutal battle. Lopez went down from a body shot in round one.

Lopez did some good clinch work in rounds two and three. But he had trouble seeing out of his cut and closing left eye.

After round 5, the fight was stopped by the ringside doctor.

Des Green Dominates McHugh

In the main event, Desmond Green left no doubt.

The unbeaten UFC veteran (3-0) was too strong for courageous British champ Scott McHugh.

Green knocked McHugh down multiple times, winning by third-round stoppage.

“The Predator” earned the BYB & Police Gazette Diamond Middleweight Titles with the win.
