BKFC headed to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for its first event of 2023.

In the main event, unbeaten Gorjan “GoGo” Slaveski (5-0) earned a shot at the world title by defeating Yosdenis Cedeno (2-1).

Slaveski seemed overeager early. He settled down in round two, and took control. Cedeno went down late in round three, and was noticeably tired in round four.

Slaveski knocked him down again before the fight was stopped.

Andy Nguyen Victorious

Hometown favourite and popular social media figure Andy “CrAsian” Nguyen outboxed Veronika Dmitriyeva, winning a five-round split decision. Nguyen improves to 2-0 in BKFC.

Inclan Rebounds with Win

Fighting just a week after his mother passed away, Albert Inclan defeated previously unbeaten Devin Gibson (2-1). Inclan (1-1) won by scores of 50-44, 49-45, and 48-46 after five rounds. Gibson was knocked down in round three.

Soto Remains Unbeaten

Tony Soto improved to 4-0, stopping Wayna Reid in four rounds. Reid showed some good boxing skills. Soto was coming forward, and Reid wore down from the pressure.
